Trump backs aide, rescinds pledge
Even with all five contenders from both parties descending on Wisconsin ahead of its presidential selection contests, Donald Trump dominates the conversation. Trump says he stands behind his campaign manager who is charged with simple battery in Florida for allegedly roughing up a reporter who tried to ask a question. Trump also says he's rescinding his pledge to back the eventual Republican nominee if he's not it.

Firefighter killed after tree falls on truck in Weare
Authorities say a New Hampshire volunteer firefighter was killed when high winds blew a tree onto his pickup truck in Weare. Police say the man was driving south on Route 114 around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday when his truck was hit by a falling tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lyndeborough Fire Department confirmed that the victim was a volunteer firefighter. He wasn't immediately identified. Department of Transportation workers removed the tree from the road.
