Winter storm, blizzard, tornadoes and a hurricane
Winter is asserting itself in the Rockies and western Plains, where a storm has prompted warnings in several states. Heavy snow is expected to start falling as a strong storm system plows eastward. It could spawn tornadoes in the Midwest. Besides various winter storm advisories, blizzard warnings are out in Northeastern Colorado and western Kansas and Nebraska.

Massive fire in Campton
A 5-alarm blaze broke out in Campton, NH at the Armont Inn on Ellsworth Hill Rd in the overnight hours. Crews were able to get the multi-alarm fire under control but not before the building was destroyed. Reports say one person was hospitalized. The cause is still under investigation.

Trump returns to Granite State
Donald Trump is returning to New Hampshire less than 12 hours after participating in the fourth GOP presidential debate. Trump will headline "Politics and Eggs" this morning at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester. The event is normally held at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, but was moved because of the large crowds Trump typically draws.
