Storm danger continues
The storm that spawned tornadoes in Oklahoma that killed at least two people is still churning around and could settle in the Ohio and Tennessee valleys on today. Yesterday's weather destroyed homes, overturned vehicles and stripped the bark from trees as they churned across Oklahoma, part of a strong series of storms that hit the Plains. Forecasters say another system should bring storms to the area from north Texas to near St. Louis tomorrow.

Amherst businesses destroyed by fire
Smoke could be seen for miles as firefighters battled a blaze that reduced two businesses to rubble in Amherst. Fire crews called to the scene along state Route 101 A Monday afternoon found the building completely engulfed in flames.Fire Chief Matthew Conley says it appears that the fire started in a dumpster before spreading to the structure's roof, which collapsed. An investigation is ongoing.Firefighters from seven communities helped knocked down the blaze, but Sundance Spas and Amherst Kayak & Canoe were both destroyed.
