Somber visit 
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will be visiting Orlando, Florida, the scene of last weekend's gay nightclub massacre that claimed 49 victims. The White House says Obama plans to make clear during his visit today that "the country stands with the people of Orlando" and "with the LGBT community in Orlando, as they grieve for their loss."

Kibby wins a delay
A New Hampshire man who kidnapped and repeatedly raped a 14-year-old girl while holding her captive for nine months has won a temporary delay in the unsealing of documents related to his case. Nathanial Kibby kidnapped the girl in 2013 after she accepted his offer of a ride home from school. His lawyers want to block the release of letters he wrote to the trial court before he pleaded guilty.
