Emergency landing in Dubai
Dubai's media office says emergency teams have been activated to respond to a crash landing at the main Dubai International Airport, and that all its passengers and crew have been safely evacuated. Dubai-based Emirates said the incident happened as Flight EK521, a Boeing 777, was arriving from southern India.

Circus operator facing charges
A year after a circus tent collapsed in New Hampshire killing a man and his 6-year-old daughter, a Florida-based circus operator is facing numerous charges and lawsuits. About 100 people were inside the tent on Aug. 3, 2015 at the Lancaster Fairgrounds when a storm blew through, toppling it. A father and his young daughter were killed; 50 others were injured. Walker International Events is facing lawsuits, a felony charge and other violations. It has denied the allegations.
