Klan furor in campaign
The Ku Klux Klan has become a factor in the Republican presidential campaign with front-runner Donald Trump taking heat from his rivals as well as Democrats for not denouncing an implicit endorsement from David Duke, a former KKK leader. Marco Rubio says besides being wrong, that makes Trump unelectable. Ted Cruz says all should agree that the "KKK is abhorrent."

Ayotte holds firm with GOP 
Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte is holding firm with the GOP on the Supreme Court vacancy, saying a new justice shouldn't be nominated until after the election. Facing a tough re-election battle against Democratic Governor Maggie Hassan, Ayotte has broken from her party on several occasions. But since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, she has stuck to the party line.

Rhode Island man killed in NH snowmobile crash
New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say a Rhode Island man has been killed in a snowmobile crash in Lincoln. Officials say 29-year-old Jordan Desousa of Warwick, Rhode Island, hit a bar of water across the Power Line Trail near Bog Pond on Saturday, causing him to lose control and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
