GOP convention: Protests outside, tough talk inside
Opponents of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump plan protests in Cleveland today including a flag burning and a wall building exercise to symbolically isolate hate speech. The protest front has been relatively calm. Inside the GOP convention hall, a pair of conservative stalwarts will be highlighted including vice presidential nominee Mike Pence and Trump's most tenacious former opponent, Sen. Ted Cruz.

Man to be sentenced in child abuse case
A New Hampshire man who authorities say broke 17 bones in his infant son's body last year is scheduled to be sentenced this week. Jose Orta-Santana could face between 10 and 20 years in state prison when he's sentenced Wednesday.
