Arrest in water skier crash
Officials say a water skier from Massachusetts was seriously injured when he was struck the propeller of a power boat, and his cousin has been charged with felony boating while intoxicated. Authorities say 38-year-old Brian McComiskey, of Woburn was water skiing on Baxter Lake in Rochester when the boat's propeller struck him, seriously injuring his leg. Police charged his cousin, John Paul McComiskey, also of Woburn, with operating under the influence.

Hiker who went off Mt. Major trail looking for dog rescued
New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say they rescued a hiker who went off a trail looking for her dog on Mount Major in Alton and became lost. Officials say 48-year-old Madeline Fruciano, of Saugus, Massachusetts, was hiking with her dog Sunday afternoon they two got separated. Fruciano called 911 and rescuers were able to located her about a half mile from the trail. Her dog was located by hikers are returned to safety.
