Obama speaks in Hiroshima's peace park 
President Barack Obama has arrived in Hiroshima's peace park, making him the first U.S. sitting president to visit the city where America dropped an atomic bomb in 1945. Obama has said that the visit is an opportunity to honor the memory of the 140,000 people lost, but he's not apologizing for the U.S. decision to use a nuclear weapon.

Kibby sentenced
A New Hampshire man who pleaded guilty to kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and raping her repeatedly during nine months of captivity has been sentenced to 45 to 90 years in prison. Thirty-five-year-old Nathaniel Kibby apologized in court Thursday for the decisions he made. The girl was in court and thanked Kibby for eventually letting her go.
