A military official says the seven Marines and four soldiers aboard an Army helicopter that crashed over waters off Florida during a training mission are presumed dead. The Pentagon official said the 11 service members are presumed dead and that the Coast Guard found debris in the water. The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the official wasn't authorized to speak on the record.

Moore remembered as dedicated friend
Co-workers are remembering a Gorham man who died Monday in a ski accident on Wildcat Mountain during a charity fundraiser. They say Samuel Moore was a dedicated worker and friend. Police say he lost control near the bottom of a trail and fell over a 60-foot drop.

Maine man enters insanity plea
A Peru Maine man has entered an insanity not guilty plea in the sexual assault and murder of his mother-in-law. Paul Orchard is accused of killing Paula Nuttall in the family home last October in front of his 6-year-old daughter. In court documents, Orchard said he was high on polyurethane fumes while treating Nuttall's floor and doesn't remember anything. He remains jailed.
