Deadly shooting at Milan courthouse
A man is under arrest in Milan, Italy, after police say he opened fire in a courthouse, killing a judge and wounding at least one other person. Italian media are reporting that the suspected gunman was in the courthouse for a bankruptcy proceeding.

Sentencing phase now set to begin
After yesterday's verdict in the marathon bombings trial, the next phase is now set to begin next week. Jurors convicted Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on all 30 charges he faced yesterday, with Tsarnaev's attorneys expected to be more aggressive during the sentencing phase as they try to keep him from getting the death penalty for the bombings.

Randall to face parole board today
One of the teens who helped kill Pamela Smart's husband in 1990 is up for parole. Now 41, Patrick Randall has been living at a halfway house and faces the state parole board today. Randall held a knife to Gregory Smart's throat as Billy Flynn shot Smart in the head. Flynn was paroled last month while Pamela Smart is serving life without parole.
