MWC Daily: Miranda Wins Big at ACM Awards

Miranda was the big winner last night at the ACM Awards that were broadcast live from her home state of Texas on CBS.

Mrs. Shelton took home her sixth consecutive 'Female Vocalist' trophy. Automatic was the 'Song of the Year,' she won her fourth 'Album of the Year' for 'Platinum,' The Album of the Year trophy ties her with George Strait in that category. She also received one of the 'Milestone Awards' last night. I think Blake may have to build a new trophy case for his wife. 6 arrests in terror probe
Six people in two states are in custody in a terrorism-related investigation, though authorities say there's no threat to public safety. The investigation is centered in Minnesota where authorities have been tracking young people who have traveled or tried to travel to Syria to fight with militants. At least one has died. Officials say they'll release more details today.

Rain expected for Boston Marathon
A damp course is expected for the 30,000 runners for this morning's Boston Marathon. Many roads along the course have already been shut down ahead of the race. Spectators will face screening before entering key race viewing areas. Authorities say the goal is to provide security without smothering the qualities that make the race a cherished tradition.

Clinton in NH today
A week after announcing she is running for president again, Democrat Hillary Clinton comes to New Hampshire today. Clinton will speak with workers at a wood furniture maker in Keene. Tomorrow, Clinton holds a roundtable with students and teachers at Concord's New Hampshire Technical Institute.
