Trump accused of encouraging violence
Donald Trump is blaming faulty interpretations and media bias for an uproar over his comments about the Second Amendment. At a Trump appearance, he told the crowd that there was nothing they could do if Hillary Clinton became president and stacked the Supreme Court with anti-gun justices. Then Trump said, "Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is - I don't know." Some Democrats are accusing Trump of openly encouraging violence.

Veteran won't see jail time 
An Iraq War veteran from Epping who shot his neighbor's pit bull in the face last September won't be required to serve jail time for the crime. Instead, 43-year-old Andrew Freisinger was ordered to relinquish his firearms, complete 500 hours of community service and pay more than $3,700 in veterinarian bills stemming from the incident.
