You could be singing the National Anthem on October 1st at the Service Credit Union Live Free Country Music Festival. In order to be considered for the Safety Insurance National Anthem Contest you must get your information to us very soon. Deadline for applications is August 15th, so hurry!

Explosions in Thailand
Police say the 10 foreigners injured in coordinated explosions in Thailand are four tourists from Germany, three from the Netherlands, two from Italy and one from Austria. The blasts targeted some of Thailand's most popular resort cities and beach towns, killing at least four people and wounding dozens more. It's unclear who was behind the attacks yesterday and today.

New Hampshire governor involved in car accident but not hurt
A state vehicle carrying New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan has been involved in a car accident, but police say she wasn't injured. Nashua police say a Volvo sedan that ran through a stop sign collided with Hassan's vehicle at about 12:20 p.m. Thursday.
