Banks are quickly running out of cash, and there are growing concerns about what will happen to people's savings. Banks have been closed for more than a week and cash withdrawals have been limited to 60 euros a day.

Hassan stands firm against Republican-led efforts
Governor Maggie Hassan is standing firm against Republican-led efforts to roll back the state law regulating who can carry concealed firearms. The Democratic governor vetoed legislation yesterday that would have removed the licensing requirement. She says the licensing requirement is necessary to keep hidden guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous people. .

State police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Bath. Few details have been released about the shooting, which happened yesterday near Route 302.
