US sailors released by Iran 
The 10 U.S. sailors detained by Iran after their two boats crossed into Iranian waters are back in U.S. hands. The nine men and one woman were released by Iran today, along with their vessels, after the head of Iran's Navy says it was determined that the sailors had a problem with their navigation system.

Mazzaglia lawyers appeal to state Supreme Court
Lawyers for a man sentenced to life without parole for raping and killing a University of New Hampshire student have appealed his convictions to the state Supreme Court. Seth Mazzaglia was sentenced for the 2012 killing of 19-year-old Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott of Westborough, Massachusetts. Mazzaglia denies raping and killing Marriott, but says he helped cover up her murder.

Fatal crash in Littleton
State police say a 77-year-old man has been killed in a one-car crash in Littleton. Bow resident Leonard Chaisson was pronounced dead at the scene yesterday morning. State police say he failed to negotiate a curve on Interstate 93 and went off the road and hit a tree.
