MWC Daily: Prepping for Winter Weather

A 'Winter Weather Advisory' is in effect for our area from 2am Tuesday morning unitl 7pm Tuesday evening. 

Tuesday morning's commute will more than likely be a messy one. Snow is expected to develop by daybreak. Meteorologists are also predicting a 'wintry mix' to develop tomorrow morning as well. 2-6 inches of snow is expected, with heaviest amounts expected in the north. Check your 5-day forecast.

Weather woes in the Midwest
States of emergency have been declared by the governors of Oklahoma and Missouri as a storm system that spawned deadly tornadoes in the Dallas area brings winter weather woes to the Midwest.

Lab results due in April
State officials say Portsmouth residents who had their blood tested for possible exposure to contaminated water at the former Pease Air Force Base will get their lab results by April. The Department of Health and Human Services says two labs are working to process more than 1,000 tests taken from August to October.

Man wanted for alleged bank robberies turns himself in
Vermont State police say a man wanted in connection with bank robberies in New Hampshire and Vermont is in custody. Police say Matthew Martin surrendered in Weathersfield, Vermont, early yesterday.
