Dover police investigate death
Police in Dover are investigating what could potentially be the fourth drug overdose death in New Hampshire's capital city this year. Officers were dispatched to the Ham Street home of 28-year-old Matthew Irvine around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday after he had been found unresponsive in the residence.

State senate considers legislation
The state Senate is considering legislation that would remove criminal penalties for possessing needles with trace amounts of drugs, a bill aimed at paving the way for needle exchange programs. Senators will debate the bill during today's session.
