Signs of coming together
There are signs everywhere of Democratic party unification behind presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, from the endorsement by President Barack Obama, to a subdued Bernie Sanders talking about meeting with his former rival to discuss ways to beat Republican Donald Trump. Clinton also got the endorsement of outspoken Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the lone holdout among Democratic women Senators.

Motorcyclist dies after colliding with car in New Hampshire
Police say a motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a car in Laconia on Thursday afternoon on Union Avenue. Police say the motorcycle had been traveling west when it collided with an eastbound car that was turning into a business. The motorcyclist was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital and later flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The victim died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The occupants of the car weren't injured. Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.
