Pontiff to address Congress
Pope Francis delivers a message to members of Congress today when he travels to Capitol Hill, the pontiff's last day in Washington. Tens of thousands of spectators will be watching from the West Lawn of the Capitol and many more on TV from around the world as the pope addresses a House chamber packed with Supreme Court justices, Cabinet officials, diplomats, lawmakers and their guests. Then this afternoon, the pope heads to New York.

Mass man indicted for NH crash
A Massachusetts man has been indicted after a tractor-trailer he was driving hit another vehicle and smashed into a New Hampshire toll booth earlier this year. A Strafford County grand jury indicted Roland Joy yesterday on three reckless conduct charges and one assault charge.

NH man sentenced to 35 years in prison
A Gorham man has been sentenced to at least 35 years behind bars in the shooting death of a man near the town common in April. Christopher Drouin pleaded guilty yesterday in Coos County Superior Court in Lancaster to second-degree murder. He also pleaded guilty to attempted murder for shooting at another man.
