SC to remove flag
After 13 hours of emotional debate, the South Carolina House has voted to remove the Confederate flag from the state Capitol's front lawn. The outcome produced hugs, tears and high fives in the House chamber early this morning. The latest effort to remove the flag started after nine black churchgoers, including state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, were gunned down during Bible study at the historic Emanuel African Episcopal Church in Charleston last month. Gov. Nikki Haley has promised to sign the bill quickly.

Exeter in shock after murder-suicide
The state attorney general's office says a man fatally shot a woman, before turning the gun on himself at the home where they both lived in Exeter. Police say they responded to the home on Tuesday for a welfare check and found 43-year-old Jennifer Noll and 49-year-old Richard Sanderson dead.

Officer involved shooting caught on tape
The state attorney general's office says it's not ready to release body cam video of police fatally shooting a man in Bath because it's part of an ongoing investigation. Authorities say the incident was captured on video by the two Haverhill officers who fatally shot 42-year-old Hagan Esty-Lennon on Monday. Authorities the man had lunged at the officers with a knife.
