MWC Daily: Weekend Weather Woes

If you have plans this weekend, Meteorologist Rob Carolan says driving could be tricky Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The latest round of winter weather that is heading our way is expected Saturday afternoon and will last into Sunday. If you do have to be on the road, please use extreme caution, go slow and give yourself extra time to get where you're going.

A mix of sun and clouds today, breezy high 16. The North Country will see snow showers tapering off by this afternoon with a high of 9. It will be clear and cold tonight. Check your weekend forecast.

Striking FairPoint Communications workers begin three days of voting on a tentative agreement just a day after negotiators announced a pact that could end the four-month strike.More than 1,700 workers in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont will vote over the next three days after attending meetings and being briefed on the tentative agreement.
