Trump and Cruz face off
The latest Republican presidential debate featured clashes between the two leading Republican presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. The candidates tangled over Trump's questioning of Cruz's eligibility to serve as commander in chief and the real estate mogul's "New York values," with Trump besting his rival with an emotional recounting of his hometown's response to the Sept. 11 attacks.

HHS issues registration certificate for Sanctuary ATC
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services has issued a medical marijuana registration certificate for a center in Rochester. Sanctuary ATC is the first to receive department approval to start cultivating medical marijuana in the state.

LePage impeachment fails
Critics of Republican Governor Paul LePage have failed to muster enough support to require a vote on an independent investigation that could have led to impeachment for alleged abuse of power. LePage remained defiant after yesterday's vote, calling the impeachment effort "nonsense" and "foolishness."
