Bracing for more floods in Texas
More flooding is expected today in some rural southeast Texas counties where the Brazos River is expected to hit a record crest of 53.5 feet by midday. National Weather Service meteorologists predict the river's crest will top a 1994 flood that caused extensive damage. All 11 of the reservoirs fed by the Brazos are at 95 to 100 percent capacity.

Police officials halt shooting of 'COPS' in Manchester
Manchester police officers no longer have the chance to become reality TV stars after police officials halted the shooting of "COPS" in the Queen City. Chief Nick Willard says he decided to pull the plug on the shoot because the show may cast Manchester in a negative light. Although filming began last week, none of the footage shot in Manchester will air.
