Trump to boycott next debate 
Donald Trump says he'll boycott the last Republican debate before the Iowa caucuses because Fox News Channel has included anchor Megyn Kelly as a debate moderator. Trump is accusing Fox of "playing games." A squabble erupted after Kelly co-hosted a debate last year.

Hassan set to nominate Kreis
Governor Maggie Hassan today plans to nominate Donald Kreis, a former attorney for the state Public Utilities Commission to the post of consumer advocate. The job would have Kreis protecting utility ratepayers. He is currently a senior energy law fellow at a Vermont law school energy center.

Early morning fire in Tilton
A 2-alarm fire at a Tilton Dunkin Donuts forced the closure of a portion of Route 3 early this morning. No one was injured in the blaze and the cause remains under investigation.
