A 'Winter Weather Advisory' will be in effect from 6pm this evening through 11am Wednesday morning for all of New Hampshire with the exception of: Chesire, Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties.

Meteorologist Rob Carolan says today, expect increasing clouds with a high of 34...28 in the North Country. Snow showers or a light wintry mix overnight with up to an inch possible....2-4 inches possible in the North Country.

Mudslide concerns in CA
A Pacific storm headed for drought-dry California is worrisome for some residents despite the promise of needed moisture. The optimism is tempered by concerns about the threat of mudslides and debris flows from the many areas of California where wildfires have burned away vegetation that would keep soil stable. The storm, while significant, isn't expected to be a drought buster.

Pizza deliveryman attacked
Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a pizza deliveryman fought off two attackers believed to be waiting for him. Police say the man was trying to make a delivery early Monday when the men appeared, one grabbing him and the other spraying pepper spray or Mace into his eyes and trying to reach into his pockets. The driver fought back and ripped a hoodie off of one of the men. Authorities believe the driver was set up. Police are still looking for the men.

Striking workers say they're not interested in returning to work
Striking workers say they're not interested in an invitation by FairPoint to return to work in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The telecommunications company sent a letter last week to more than 1,700 striking workers explaining its position that the old contract was out of sync with the industry, and telling workers that they're welcome to return under terms imposed by the company.
