Investigators are casting a wide net as they try to find out what caused Omar Mateen to go on his murderous rampage. The FBI is checking reports that Mateen had frequented the gay dance club in Orlando, Florida, that was the scene of Sunday's massacre that left 49 victims dead.

Parent fight to keep daughter's sexual history sealed
The parents of a University of New Hampshire student who was raped and killed are fighting to keep details about her sexual history from exposure to the public. Westborough, Massachusetts, resident Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott was 19 years old when she was killed in 2012. A Friday court ruling could unseal documents about her "alleged prior consensual sexual activity" that form the basis for an appeal by the man convicted of killing her.
