My Birthday Celebration In Pictures & Video

Not many people get excited about their 52nd birthday. I just happen to be one of the rare few that does. When you have people who love you like I do...it's easy. Thanks for every birthday wish on Facebook, text message, and birthday card.

A special shout out to my girlfriend, my two sons, and the best co-host a guy could ask for. Although my birthday was on Monday, the celebration actually started on Saturday night in Boston. My girlfriend took me for an overnight at The Boston Harbor Hotel. To say it was a GREAT night would be an understatement. Room service was spectacular, the staff was amazing, and the view tremendous.

And then Monday morning rolled around. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure what kind of surprise Kira had planned. But it turned out to be AWESOME. April Cushman dropped by to perform an original song...all about me!

And then there was the food. A five foot sub from Patty B's arrived shortly after 10.

And then last night, we wrapped everything up at a new favorite spot in Amesbury, MA, called Trina's Starlite Lounge. My girlfriend, son, and her daughter chowed down!

And of course, we had to take a few goofy pictures too...

I've had 52 birthdays. This one HAD to be the best. So many people took the time to make the day all about me. All of you did more than I ever expected. From the bottom of my heart...thank you. And I can't wait to celebrate number 53!
