NASCAR Races To Visit This New Hampshire Elementary School

Students at Woodland Heights Elementary School in Laconia, NH are in for a special treat on Tuesday, June 6. NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Brennan Poole will visit two classes as a reward for reading more books than any other class.

The celebration is part of New Hampshire Motor Speedway's Speeding to Read program. Unveiled in March, Speeding to Read encourages kids to put down their electronic devices and pick up a book instead.

Poole is in his second full season of driving for Chip Ganassi Racing in the XFINITY Series. He's currently ranked seventh, and has two Top Ten finishes in two career starts at NHMS.
