There will be plenty of snow falling in New England before the big storm hits early next week.

Accuweather reports that snow showers and cold temperatures will push through the region this weekend before a major storm arrives late Sunday.

AccuWeather.com Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams said that the outlook doesn't look good for areas still recovering from recent snowfall.

"The potential is there for a heavy accumulation in some of the same places that were hit hard with feet of snow in the past two weeks."

The snow is expected to move out Monday evening after the long period of steady snowfall. This comes soon after Winter Storm Juno blanketed the region with two feet of snow in some areas.
