New Hampshire Bracing for Heat, Humidity and Torrential Downpours This Week

Hope you enjoyed the low-humidity we experienced earlier this week, because starting today and going into the weekend, we're looking at the possibility of oppressive heat and very humid conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 80 and the possibility of rain and thunderstorms this afternoon. Even more a chance of rain tonight. Some of those storms could produce heavy rains.

Tomorrow, (Thursday) it's going to be sunny and very hot. Temps will reach near 90, but the heat index will make it feel more like close to 100 degrees! OUCH!

Friday, forecasters are calling for a mostly cloudy day with temps in the mid 80's. But, there's also a good chance of scattered thunderstorms with some of those storms producing very heavy rains.

The weekend so far doesn't look to be that bad. It will still be hot and humid, with high's expected in the 80's both Saturday and Sunday.
