Anyone who knows this writer knows that fall is one of her favorite times of year.

Not only is the natural scenery beautiful, but one can enjoy seasonal activities like apple picking, corn mazes, and leaf peeping, while also savoring treats like pumpkin beverages, baked goods, and more. Then of course, there's Halloween and all the fun things that come with the holiday, like ghost stories, haunted houses, spooky movies, costumes, and trick-or-treating. We could go on and on. Fall is a special time of year, and there's nothing quite like it in New England.

One of the things our region is most known for is our exquisite fall foliage. Leaf peepers come from all over the country (and even outside the country) to appreciate our colorful landscapes. A popular way of doing so is via car, especially driving along the famous Kancamagus Highway. If you're looking to get even more up close and personal, you can hike along the countless trails in the White Mountains National Forest and beyond.

But which trails offer the most scenic fall views? That's where you come in.

We asked our readers and listeners on Facebook for recommendations on the best places to go on a fall hike in New Hampshire, and you guys delivered. Let's have a look at some of your favorite trails. Is there any place you think is missing from the list?
