New Hampshire businesses are saying "thank you" to the troops for Veterans Day with a little something special.

Time.com has compiled a list of national chains that are offering up free food and drink to those in the service. The following restaurants offering up freebies can be found in New Hampshire. These deals are subject to participation.

Applebee's:

Vets and active-duty military can pick from a special free menu that includes an oriental chicken salad, double crunch shrimp and fiesta lime chicken. Beverages and gratuity are not included. (See the Menu)

The Cannon Lounge – Chill & Grill (Rochester, NH):

Veterans and active duty military eat free with proof of military ID.

Cracker Barrel:

Veterans get a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake

Hooters:

All veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free entrée

IHOP:

All veterans and active-duty military members can receive an order of Red, White & Blue Pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pancakes have glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped cream

Little Caesars:

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active military get a free $5 Hot-N-Ready lunch combo that includes four pizza slices and a 20-ounce beverage.

Olive Garden:

Customers with military ID get a free entrée with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks. Family members that join at the table get 10% off their meal.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt:

All veterans and active-duty personnel get a free 11-ounce frozen yogurt.

Outback Steakhouse:

Customers with military ID get a free Blooming Onion appetizer and free beverages. All military and their families can also get 15% off the bill anytime from November 12 to December 31.

Red Robin:

Veterans or active-duty personnel get a free Red’s Tavern Double burger and bottomless steak fries.

Chilis:

All veterans and active duty dervice members get a lunch combo or their choice from a select dinner menu.

Denny’s:

All active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build-Your-Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. until noon.

LongHorn Steakhouse:

All veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free Texas Tonion & non-alcoholic beverage.

StarBucks:

All veterans and their spouses get a free tall brewed coffee.
