New Star Wars Trailer is Better than Entirety of the Prequels [VIDEO]

In the span of one minute, the new trailer for the J.J. Abrams' Star Wars movie has proven better than the past three movies. Combined.

For those of us who grew up with Star Wars, the prequels were a massive disappointment that seemingly tried to destroy the legacy of the franchise. How does Jar Jar Binks exist in anywhere, never mind an iconic American classic?

We all need to just pretend they never happened and let it go. It has been sixteen years since that reboot, which had as teeming with excitement, dashed our hopes entirely.

Now, we have a new hope (get it, A New Hope?) because even in the relatively short trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens J.J. Abrams has proven he knows what true fans really want. The big payoff that comes in the final seconds of the clip will make you giddy.

We may have an entire summer in front of us, but part of me wants it to be December 18 already.
