(Kittery, Maine)- Maine and New Hampshire’s U.S. senators say that $11.5 million dollars in construction funding and the procurement of two Virginia Class submarines for The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard has been listed in a pending appropriations bill. The military construction funding would go toward the consolidation of some structural operations at the yard to improve efficiency.
(Portsmouth)- Organizers of the 2014 Boston – Portsmouth Air Show said today that they will not hold the show this year as planned. The decision to cancel the show was made because the organizers could not secure a major jet demonstration team to headline the show.
(Conway,N.H.) – Zenya Hernandez, the mother of 15 year old Abigail Hernandez of North Conway who’s been missing since last October, made a plea for her safe return today through a You Tube video. In the video Zenya said “Abby, I love you,I miss you, I really want to see you again. Please come home” It’s now been 99 days since Abby was last seen.
