NH Arrest on Christmas Day

(Wilmot, NH) - A Newport man was taken into custody early Christmas morning for failing to register as a sex offender.State and local police received a tip that 37 year old Christopher Lee was in the Andover area. Lee was spotted getting into a vehicle that police followed and stopped in Wilmot. Lee was identified as a passenger in the vehicle and he was arrested on a warrant for Duty to Report and on a bench warrant that had been issued by Newport District Court.

Lee was taken to the Sullivan County Jail where he is being held until a court appearance is scheduled.
