NH Craftsmen’s Fair Open Through Sunday

(Mount Sunapee, NH) - The 82nd Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair is open at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury.

The NH fair is the longest running annual crafts fair in the country and brings together more that 350 craftsmen displaying their wares. The event, running through August 9th, draws about 30-thousand visitors each year.

From modern to more traditional styles, the Fair features more than 200 booths of fine craft, including colorful pottery, hand-blown glass, framed prints, beautiful bowls, decorative scarves, and handcrafted jewelry.

The Fair boasts daily craft demonstrations and workshops, fine craft exhibitions, free tours and seminars, and entertainment for the entire family. Along with a vast array of fine, handmade craft, this year’s Craftsmen’s Fair will have a special focus on children, with programs designed to help develop an interest in fine craft, including an all-day pottery school and lessons on the use of woodworking tools.

The League of NH Craftsmen is a non-profit, craft education organization. Its mission is to encourage, nurture and promote the creation, use and preservation of fine contemporary and traditional craft through the inspiration and education of artists and the broader community.
