Two ski prospects, including a man from Franconia, were tragically killed in an avalanche while skiing on Monday.

WMUR reports that Ronnie Berlack, 20, of Franconia, NH, and Bryce Astle, 19, of Sandy, Utah, died Monday from an avalanche near Rettenbach glacier. The skiers were part of a group of six skiers who were going down the 3,056-meter Gaislachkogel.
