NH State Trooper Injured In Hit & Run Crash
(Warner, NH) - New Hampshire State Police are looking for the driver of a tractor-trailer rig that struck a cruiser on Route 89 in Warner Tuesday evening and drove away from the scene.
The State Trooper had stopped to assist a motorist that had gone off Route 89 southbound. The cruiser was in the cruiser with emergency lights flashing when a tractor trailer struck the rear of the vehicle, pushing it about 283 feet into the median on the right side of the roadway.
The T-T rig pulled to the side of the highway after the impact, but then drove off.
The vehicle is described as a dark colored cab and a white box-type trailer with Canadian license tags.
The unnamed State Trooper was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
