On the show, I was lamenting about how no one can pronounce my hometown correctly. It's because it is spelled so foolishly! The spelling is "Leominster" but it is pronounced LEMON-STIR. Obviously, everyone calls it LEO-MINSTER.

It got me thinking, some of the town names in Maine and New Hampshire are a real doozy! I want to talk to folks from those towns and see if they face the same issues. As it turns out, they totally do.

And there you have it folks. Feel free to refer to this pronunciation guide throughout your travels in Northern New England. You don't want to piss off the locals now do you?
