One of the things I like about the Olympics are the personal stories but NBC occasionally frequently gets out of hand at the expense of the actual, y'know, competition. I'm waiting to hear about a curling star from Latvia who grew up broomless and overcame the odds by immigrating to Canada and accepting a job as janitor where he accessed his first broom ("from there, he swept his way into the Winter Games-- and into our hearts"). The Daily Show wonderfully spoofed this phenomenom during the Summer Games a few years back. Less talk, more action please!
