(Dover, NH) - Dover Police say there were two drug overdoses reported within minutes of each other Monday morning.

Police say medical responders were called to the parking lot of McDonalds on Central Ave just after 10 am and found a 25 year old unconscious male in his vehicle. He was revived with Narcan and taken to the hospital. He is expected to recover.

Minutes later, authorities responded to the Cricketbrook Apartments on Henry Law Ave and found a 19 year old male who was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is consistent with that of a heroin or fentanyl overdose.

Dover Police say there have been 33 overdoses and 5 deaths so far this year in the city.

Last year, there were a total of 45 overdoses and 6 deaths.
