Playing Mario Kart with a Live Soundtrack

Combining Rock Band and Mario Kart is something that sort of happened after every night of drinking about ten years ago. This, however, is really taking it a huge step up.

You see, back in my day we busted out the Wii and played Mario Kart for an hour or two with friends. As the drinks piled up, it morphed into a Rock Band party with my brother Kevin inevitably belting out Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer.

While the popularity of Rock Band has quickly faded (I eagerly anticipate it's return someday), Mario Kart is in the midst of a renaissance. The game is pretty sweet on its own, but with a live backing band? Well, check it out for yourself.
