The last thing any bride needs to stress about is whether or not the shop where she purchased her gown is going out of business.

However, it may be time for worry for countless brides. Several days ago, news broke that David's Bridal is tinkering on the brink of bankruptcy, due to the fact they skipped an interest payment on a $270 million loan earlier this week. This, according to the Chicago Tribune.

David’s Bridal, is the country's biggest independent supplier of wedding gowns. The chain, which is based in Pennsylvania is said to outfit 1 in 3 brides across the United States. They have over 300 stores nationwide including some here in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The Tribune's article said executives at David's Bridal insist brides have nothing to worry about and that no one will be left without a dress while the chain tries to improve their revenue.
