Popular Seabrook Market Destroyed By Overnight Fire

WMUR reports that an overnight fire has destroyed a landmark in Seabrook Beach.

Catalano’s Market is a popular destination for those who live and vacation at Seabrook Beach. The fire apparently tore through the Ocean Boulevard shop after calls came in 911 at around 3:30 AM Wednesday morning.

Fire crews reported several challenges in fighting the fire, including snow, vehicle location & lack of water.

This is a bummer for me.  As a kid I used to frequent this place all the time. Old Schoolers like me remember this place as "DiBurro's Market."

Seven people were also displaced in adjacent apartments, although no injuries were reported.
