Portsmouth Man Dies In Hampton Crash

(Hampton, NH) - A Portsmouth man died in a single vehicle crash in Hampton Monday morning.

State Police say 60 year old Louis Kloppenburg was alone in the car that went off the Route 101 ramp to I-95, down an embankment and struck a tree.

Kloppenburg was taken by ambulance to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he died a short time later.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash just after 10 Monday morning.
