Portsmouth Shopping Plaza to Get New Retail Store

The site of the former Kmart on Woodbury Ave. in Portsmouth that has long been vacant is apparently, going to have new owners.

According to an article from Seacoast Online, the retail chain, 'Burlington' (formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory), which sells discounted clothing, shoes and items for the home is reportedly going to occupy a portion of the old Kmart building. Other stores in the shopping plaza include, Marshalls, Market Basket and Petco.

The article goes on to say at least one other retail tenant is expected to move into the same building. 'Burlington has three other New Hampshire stores located in Concord, Manchester and Nashua.
