Portsmouth Traffic Stop Leads To Felony Arrest
(Portsmouth, NH) - A Portsmouth man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop Monday.
Portsmouth Police stopped 39 year old Abdul Rodriguez for speeding on Banfield Road just before 4:30 Monday afternoon. Police located a loaded handgun under the driver's seat and a quantity of heroin in the vehicle.
Rodriguez is charged with Being a Felon in Possession of a Handgun, Possession of Drugs, Possession of a Concealed Weapon Without a Permit, Operating Without a Valid License, Operating After Suspension and Speeding.
Rodriguez was held without bail pending his appearance in Portsmouth District Court on the felony charges.
