Prior Lake Father Uses YouTube to Strike Back at Bullies

A 14 year old girl in Prior Lake, Minnesota has been racially targeted by her peers on Snapchat, how her father responds is heroic.

In Prior Lake, Minnesota Brad Knudson, a father of an adopted 14 year old African-American girl named Deedee, posted a video on YouTube calling out his daughter’s peers for bullying her.

Although Snapchat videos delete after viewing, Brad took a video of the Snapchats with his phone for evidence.

Brad explains in the video:

“We have a very beautiful African American daughter that we were very fortunate enough to adopt 11 years ago. We've dealt with a little bit of racism, you know, stares, things like that when she calls us mom or dad, but she didn't notice so we just blew it off because it was directed towards us”

According to Fox 28, Deedee has this to say about the situation:

"I just hope people understand how much racism affects people"
