Prosecutors Say Investigation Into County Attorney is Now Criminal.

(Concord,N.H.) New Hampshire prosecutors said for the first time today that their investigation into veteran Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams is criminal in nature. The Attorney General stripped Reams of his power to prosecute last month pending a joint state and federal investigation of his office.Senior Attorney General Jane Young said her office has interviewed more than 40 witnesses and has hired an independent auditor. She also said some of the state's witnesses are victims of Reams but did not elaborate.
